I want to sing this to my baby but i don't know the lyrics
There are 2 songs i want atm
- Spider ( climbing up the wall ......something like that.right? )
- row row row your boat........down the stream,......
i know the tunes
:dohh:
thanks

Incey Wincy Spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
So Incey Wincy Spider climbed up the spout again

Row row row your boat
gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
life is but a dream

Row row row your boat
gently down the stream
and if you see a crocodile
don't forget to scream

I google lyrics for songs so I could learn a couple to sing. I didn't like a lot of nursery rhyme lyrics, eg rock-a-bye baby that ends with te baby falling out of a tree.

This is one of my favorite lullabye's On the website they have the tune for different ones too. :)

ohhh can i just add does anyone know the spacemen one?? I love it!!!

five little men in a flying saucer -
came down to earth one day
they looked left and right
but they didnt like the sight
so then spacemen flew away!
WHoooooooooooosh

sorry to gate crash lol.

at maddi's swimming lessons we continue with row row row your boat...

row row row your boat
gently down the river
if you see a polar bear
don't forget to shiver

row row row your boat
gently along the shore
if you see a lion
don't forget to roar!

I'm reading a really interesting book atm that tells you the origins of nursery rhymes eg Humpty Dumpty is actually about a cannon in the English Civil War.

My mom and I were talking about nursery rhymes the other day and how a lot of them are politically based.

Row row row your boat gently down the lake
If you hear a hissing sound
It's probably a snake
(and then hiss- My baby's favourite part!)
