i was expecting the worst but all i got was "ta ta"

had to drop the cotbed down to the lowest setting as nicole was starting to lean on the top and throw herself off onto our bed!!

i was absolutely dreading putting her to bed last nite as she will only go to sleep holding my hand (one of her hands clenches my thumb and her other hand rubs my hand) i know thats a bad habit but her dad started it when she was a about 2 mths old. with the cot been at its lowest my hand wont reach in so hence i was waiting for a screaming match ....... did i get it? NO she went off to sleep straight away.

every morning she comes into our bed for a cuddle and chat, dh got her out, popped her into the bed and she crawled over me and wanted to go back into he cot

i just put her into the cot for a nap and she said "ta ta" and waved goodbye

i feel so used and alone

My LO refuses to nap on me anymore because I jostle her too much - not nice when you realise that they don't need you as much as you thought!

i shed a few tears last nite in bed. the other part of it that i hate is she has thrown her lovely blanket and sheet out of it. it was the only bed i made in the morn, it was always perfect lol. now it just has a mattress but shes happy

i see ur in ireland too, whereabouts?

Aw - yeah, it's great that they're growing up but do they have to do it so quickly?!

i have to drop LO's cot to the lowest soon (its on the middle at the mo) cause she is pulling herself up!! one day i can see er just going over it ..so i tink its time

and she also doesnt like to be cuddled to sleep anymore she just sits on my knee and goes to sleep herself

nicole had 2 naps so far today. first one was 40mins and the last one was an hr!! think she tired herself out walking around and around in her cot lol. she luvs standing in it and chats away to me. she also tried to put minnie mouse into her sleeping bag lol so cute
