i would like to introduce my new puppy :) *updated with new pics*

i would introduce them slowly and maybe separate them in the beginning when you can't supervise them/have to go out. Better safe than sorry. That goes for all dogs by the way.
Good that you will have her health checked!

yes ive got my old dog crate from when i got bella my auntie gave it me from when she got her lab so its quite roomy so i will defo be putting her in that when i go out xx

IGNORE what people are saying about staffs. The sad fact is this beautiful breed (dubbed the nanny dogs) have been ruined by those who only want them as status dogs and train them up to fight.

If your pup is coming from parents with good temperaments and you raise that dog right you should never have a problem.

Don't go into it thinking this pup will grow up to be a killer, if you do there's no point in you taking the pup home.

my nanna had a staff and he could be very protective when it came to other dogs coming near me (i was only young when she had him) but apart from that he was so soft the things i used to do with him and he wouldnt bother very soft dog and the mother of these pups was so calm and chilled and let me stroke her and her pups and wasnt bothered my friend said she has never so much as growl at anyone so hopefully it wont be a problem.

i told my friends staffs have gotten a bad name because of people thinking they are "fighting" dogs and going around in gangs with a staff on the lead thinking its protection i'm gonna bring this dog up to be the biggest softy ever lots of cuddles and socialising with other dogs on the park at the bottom of my drive xx

Good for you hun :) I'd get him to puppy training classes - perfect socialisation oppurtunities there!

yes i was thinking about puppy classes as theres one 15 mins away i used to take a dog i used to have when i was younger that was about 10 years ago but i'm sure its still open might inquire about it xx

ive got 2 rottweilers lady was 3 when we got ruby at 7weeks (the lady said she was 9 weeks but vets said 7!!) we just brung her home put the pup on the floor they play fighted for a bit now 20months on there just like sisters dont leave eachother alone sleep together is great! good luck :D

We have a 13 week old Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldog. We called her Twix.. They grow so big so quick. Enjoy her hun! As for names we had loads but we settled on Twix cos its the one we both agreed on haha, OH didnt like any names I suggested and I didnt like any names he did. Lol. We didnt get her until she was 8 weeks because she had to have her first injections first.

She is gorgeous by the way.

I suggest on buying a cage to train the dog to toilet. A dog should never want to pee or poo where they sleep so it teaches them to hold it.. We had major problems with Twix so now she is not so bad.

aaawww how gawjus is she, OMG I would of wanted them all but me being me would of picked the mangiest runt cause I can resist the small sorryful looking ones... aaaahhh a name, I love Chester as shes a chestnut colour but not sure if this is a boys name. Give her a squeeze from me shes a beaut.

thanks girls up to now i like the name jessie but i'm still open for other names unfortunately 2 of the smaller dogs died yesterday they both had clef lips so i rekon they wasnt suckling properly my friend took them to the vets who said to put the pups on the mothers teet so suckling and if that fails to get a syring.

my friends oh was up all night trying this but unfortunately they didnt make it poor little pups but mine is one of the biggest so shes still going good.

ive already got cage for the pup its big one so lots of room as it was my aunts who had a lab pup x

How sad, that's awful. Puppies with a cleft palate don't stand a chance sadly and it is kinder to put to sleep. :nope: Cleft palate can also be a hereditary defect, especially if more than one puppy in a litter has it, so it would be wise for your friend to not breed her dogs again. Have they had the rest of the pups checked over by a vet?

Also, not sure if your friend knows, but the back teats are more productive. If she keeps moving the smaller pups to the back teats (they will never be there the bigger pups push them off!) then it means the litter will grow more evenly and there won't be a 'runt'.

Sorry if this is just a shedload of unwanted advice, just trying to be helpful.

Glad your pup is doing well. Crates are brilliant to help with toilet training/preventing chewing etc.

lunabean you will have to put some pics up for us to see i love puppy pics what breed is he/she.

midori that was very helpful advice i will let my friend know i'm not sure if she took all the pubs to the vets but i will let her know about the teet thing x
