Hi everyone
I’m new here, currently TTC no.3 after losing a baby at 22 weeks in March
I’m on clomid as I don’t always ovulate and this my first cycle TTC after my loss.
I timed BD perfectly this cycle but I’m now panicking as I took a single dose of 400mg ibuprofen for a bad headache the evening before my first positive OPK. According to my chart on FF, I ovulated the day after that (so 2 days after taking the ibuprofen). I’m now reading lots of stuff online saying it shouldn’t be taken around ovulation as it can either delay it or stop it altogether. I was aware it shouldn’t be taken in the 2WW as can affect implantation but I had no clue it could also affect ovulation and I now want to kick myself 
I know my chart shows ovulation but apparently you can still get the temp rise if the follicle doesn’t rupture & the egg stays inside (which is what the ibuprofen can cause to happen) so I can’t take that as a guaranteed reassurance.
im really hoping a one off dose won’t have caused any problems & I did still go on to ovulate but I guess I’m just posting here for reassurance, has anyone else taken ibuprofen around ovulation & gone on to conceive? Or knows anything more about this?
I know if it has messed up my ovulation there’s nothing I can do now & I will just have to focus on next cycle & make sure I avoid it in future! I’m just finding everything such an emotional rollercoaster & frustration this time especially after my loss.
