IC vs FRER @ 11dpo

I was suprised at the results the 10miu IC's gave compared to the apparently 25miu FRER, so I thought I'd share.

These were all from the same pee (the OPK was dipped last & didn't touch any of the other tests)
The frer pic was taken after 3 mins, the IC after about 5-6.

I personally thought the IC HPT would be a lot clearer if it was more sensitive?

I also did an OPK for fun (green one, also ebay-babymad) these turn positive at approximately 25miu.

No, I found the ICs totally lame. I got my bfp on a superdrug own brand and then a digi. Wasn't getting anything you could see at arms length on the ICs until a few days after AF was due.

The OPK's were great though, just the HPT's are a bit.. um.. weak!

First and foremost cheers for experimenting, I knew we could count on you!!!

Second I think that there are two problems with ICs these days. One is the evident one, they have severely dropped in quality since everyone and their dog uses them. A couple of years ago no one was using anything other than FRER and CB but then CB became crap, FRER hard to find and these were so cheap they became main stream and since then the quality dropped (evidently less ink, thinner and thinner, crappy packaging, they fall apart and to top it evaps starting appearing on ICs like mushrooms).

Second problem is that there are three types of ICs. 10 mui, 25 mui and 50 mui and most manufacturers and ebay sellers will purposely omit to clarify that the ones they sell are not 10 mui. I reckon yours up there could even be a 50 mui.

Ohhh a CB, that reminds me, I couldn't bring myself to buy one, but maybe I will empty my penny jar in the name of POAS experimentation! I'm intrigued to see what kind of line I'd get
(probably thin, dark blue & on one side only you think? pmfsl)

PS. Im my usual bull in a china shop manner, I have POA digi already.
My will power is awful, how did I ever manage to give up smoking all those years ago?

huh what a crap IC. i never knew that they were so rubbish. it means it's going to be even harder to decide if all those evaps are positives or not now!!

I have to pop to boots in a bit, the OH is a bit poorly & wants some tablets, bless him. Might just have to sneak a pack of CB standard in the basket!

I have a CB, I bought a pack for fun to see what a real line looks like on them... well wouldn't you know, it's EXACTLY the same as the false positives we all got, i'll do some pics when I get round to it. xx

i've not bought any cb ones either after seeing all your false lines on them lol. i think the only tests left to buy are them,asdas own and sainsburys own every other test i have tried out flmao!!!!!!!

i am off to buy some more digis today (yes i am a poas addict) think i have done about 20 tests now but need the reassurance of seeing that indicator go up. x
