ICSI @ RFC Belfast..... How long did you wait for your golden ticket??

Hi girls

I'm currently on the waiting list at the RFC Belfast for ICSI. I recieved a letter last week to say I was at the top of the list for private treatment.... But wondering how long other girls attending the RFC waited for their NHS go. I got on the list on the 19th dec 11.... I know it's only been 8mths but I really wish my golden ticket would come! The wait is driving me crazy

Im with the RFC in Belfast and I wast very impressed I came out in tears, I have never felt to humiliated .. I was diagnosed with pcos before I went which was the reason for me going so really it was a waste of my time, they didnt explain anything to me or give me advice .. apart from lose weight which I knew anyway, that was January and Im still waiting for my next appointment.

Hi Im on the list too but a bit further back, only one it about 4mnths but hoping our time will come next spring ... Or that we wont need it at all
Coz the wait is so long & we both have fertility probs we are doing a private icsi cycle with origin at the moment.

Littlepeps, sorry youve had a bad experience at Royal, hope you get your next apt soon and that it goes much better. We've been seeing Dr Agbaje and have only good things to say about him & our Royal experience so far.

Ooooh I see u started your stims already sending loads of Hope you don't need your go and it all works out how are you finding it?? I have had mixed reviews on origin we considered going private and had a consultation with them but decided to wait as we have saved enough for only one cycle and would like to keep it all being well for little sisters or brothers lol jumping ahead of myself a bit!

Littlepeeps who did you see at the royal?? Im with Dr Williamson and so far she seems okay. I would ring them if it has been longer than 4 months since your last appointment it did take me nearly 6 months to get my review but i would try and get the ball rolling
