Ideas for a 5th birthday present?

It is my friend's son's 5th birthday next month and I have no idea what to get him. I haven't seen him since he was a toddler so not sure what he's into. I'm looking to spend about a tenner and it needs to be relatively light as it'll be going in the post. Help!

I got DS's friend a little mega blocks (the lego style ones) set. It came in a box and the top of the box was like a board to build on. It was £12 and quite light. I don't think you can go wrong with stuff like lego and it's not too heavy with the little sets x

Another vote for Lego from me. You can get some pretty cool sets for £10 or less and they should be light enough to send in the post.
