If baby coughs up a bottle, do you give another soon after??

So, our little one is not a very sicky baby - however she has coughed up pretty much the whole bottle within 15mins of being fed a couple of times.

When this happens do you give another feed maybe half an hour later if baby is hungry enough? Or just leave it til next feed?

Lana puked up about 3oz last night and she had only had 4, it took her a while to settle but she went until, in fact about an hour beyond her next feeding time before she wanted more, but i guess if your lo is shouting for food then you would give it\

I always give my LO was he has sicked up. He soon screams for another if I dont replace it - no way would he last another 3/4 hours if he's sick x

I usually wait for at least an hr. As I feed on demand, if he doesnt seem hungry, I just wait until he ask for a bottle

My LO has never been a really sicky baby but went through a phase for a week or so when she was about 4 weeks old of throwing up (always on her daddy lol!!!) and woe betide me if I didn't feed her again straight away! I always thought it odd that she could be so sick, completely unperturbed and feed immediately afterwards but that was the way she was!!

i always feed Leah straight away again as she won't settle without a full belly! I found it wierd to start with how she would want to eat straight after being sick, but if you think about it it's not like it's an ill sick like we have when we are poorly and feel really ill - usually it's just some air that forces it up or if they were greedy and overfilled! xxx

My lo has done this this morning he had 4oz milk then half an hr later some porridge, then about 15mins later he was sick and I mean sick it went everywhere!! Don't know whether to give him another bottle now cos he is moaning

well he went till his next feed at half 11 and drank 4oz been a bit of a struggle to feed him more than usual cos he is now teething
