If clomid does not work whats next??

Hi everyone,
Im on my 5th round of clomid 100mg. I got a bfp on round 2 but had a mc at 10wks, i had a chemical a few days ago and now im starting a new cycle. I just wondered if there are ladies out there who tried clomid and did not get a bfp could tell me whats next?
From what i have read the docs dont like to have you on clomid for longer than 6months. If thats true then what else can they do to help?

Just wanted to say I am in the same boat as you, although I have had 7 rounds, mc with round 2 aswel! Have my next appt on wednesday to see what my next option is, but as I'm unexplained, other than mild pcos, I think it will be ivf for us!
Have u had all tests etc?

I did 5 rounds of Clomid, ovulated on 2, and had a miscarriage on 1. I'm taking Femara now, and my RE said if that doesn't work then the next step is injectibles.

I have had blood tests and scans but thats it. Im really praying i get my bfp this time or next. I have to go back to the gyno in october. Let me know how you get on x

Hey. I'm passed ovulation on my sixth round. My FS told me that if after six rounds I am still not pregnant then it will be injections for me.

i only took 2 rounds of clomid and they took me off it. ive got a 6 month break to reduce my bmi from 31 to 28, and oh to stop smoking, and then if we still dont concieve in 6 months naturally, we are been refered to ivf specialist x
