If you find the heartbeat early with a doppler, will you also feel the baby kick quiet early?

What do you girls think?

I found the heartbeat at 8w6d, and was just wondering , or maybe it doesnt have anything to do with eachother, i dont know :winkwink:

I'm really not sure hun! Weirdly for me I'm finding it hard to get the heartbeat, maybe I haven't got a good one? But I can hear kicks.. every now and then big ones for a few mins then nothing. It's lovely!

You cant feel that baby move untill 18-24 weeks I beilve.

I know you can't feel kicks this early, you might feel the "quickening" around week 14-15.

I was just wondering if you find the hb early, would you feel the kicks early too, early as in around 14-15 weeks.

With chloe I felt her moving at about 14.5 weeks but not an actually kick until I was 19 weeks. I think it just varies between pregnancys x

With my first it was around 19 weeks...with my 2nd I could feel him moving around 13/14 weeks, felt like something was running around in there, and I know the difference between fluttering, and gas...I thought he was doing flips or dancing or something...now he runs all over my house!

I imagine hearing the baby's HB really depends on where the sac is placed in your uterus at the time. If it is closer to the front of the body I would anticipate you may hear things if you happen to have the doppler in the right place at the right time. Obviously the bigger the baby gets the easier i will be to find the HB as the pregnancy goes on.

How early have you tried a doppler? I didnt think they worked until later but if it may work it could be great to put my mind at rest. x

This would be interesting to know! How can you tell if it's a
Babys kick on the Doppler? I can hear the heartbeat, although not for long before baby moves and I have to find it again. Would love to hear a kick though maybe I have and just not realised it x

I had a booklet with mine, it tells you the difference between each noise that you hear. With the kicks it's like a few hard thumps.. with the heartbeat i hear it more like drums lol.
