Hi Girls,
as the title says really, if you have two jobs does the leave need to be identical? or could you return to work at different times?

thanks!

I have no firm info - but I would imagine you could possibly take leave at different times, because thats related to your arrangement with that employer - but you might find any maternity pay from the government would be stopped as soon as you took up at least one of the jobs.

Just guessing.

Not sure, I work two jobs and run a home based business - I'm not too familiar with maternity leave but one would assume as soon as you went back to one job, that would class as the end of your leave. Even though you're only working one job.

In Canada, yes as your maternity leave is paid through Employment Insurance.

I think you're allowed to work making like 25% of what your maternity benefits are (possibly) while you are on maternity leave... so you could work at a job but just drastically reduce your hours.

Ah Boo! I thought that might be the case. Thanks for the help.
