If you see 3 lines on a gender scan, definitely a girl?

So I went for my gender scan a week ago, and at first she was scanning for 10 minutes and said baby was in too much of an awkward position so I had to go for a walk eat and drink something sugary then go back.

I came back and she started scanning again but still said babies legs were tightly crossed, after another 10 mins looking she finally got between her legs. Took another 5 mins looking and said 'well it looks like you're having another little girl' she showed us the 3 lines and explained but I can't help but think as baby wasn't cooperating it the first place she might of got it wrong!
I'm not fussed what sex I got I am happy with whatever I get but I've bought soooo many baby girl clothes in the sale :haha: I have my 20 week on jan 13th so can confirm then but for the time being just thought I'd ask.

So does 3 lines definitely mean girl? I'm silly and didn't get a potty shot picture!

Boys can actually have three lines too but it looks kind of different to what it does when you see a girls part.

I wish I got the picture of the potty shot now! I'm only thinking it because she said what an awkward position baby was in so maybe she guessed? I know they can't really guess at a private scan but dykwim?

On my private scan they told me that if there are three lines its a girl (they referred to it as burger looking slightly rounded outer lines and a straight inner) then a boy is like a chicken drum stick! lol... Sorry for the food references! lol...

We are def a drumstick! :-) NHS confirmed this at 20 weeks xxx
