My order from Motherhood came in :) I ordered the clothes on Tuesday and it's here already.

If anyone is in need of maternity clothes, I highly recommend them. I spent $175 on the following:

2 - Velour Sweatsuits
2 - Tank Tops
2 - T-shirts
1 - Denim Skirt
1 - Camo capri pants

Truly, I thought that was a good price.

I also bought a few tops from another maternity store here today and bought two babydoll tops from a normal store. In addition, bought 3 pairs capris and 1 pair shorts for $30 from Ebay.

I think I am set now. I hope.

As mentioned, this time I am going to enjoy my pregnancy and try and look good :) And, it's better to be prepared for that day when my normal clothes don't fit. I remember how depressing it was in the past when I had nothing to wear.

That's wonderful!! You've already got more pieces than I do  I'm sure you'll look great in them though :hugs:

(On a side note I deleted the duplicate thread like you asked!)

Hopefully they will all take me right through my pregnancy and through two seasons :) I don't want to have to buy anything more.

Thanks for deleting the thread. My fingers must be quicker than my mind today :)

:hugs:

You're goona look fab Lee-Anne! And what a bargain!! I'm going to be in California for Easter so I think I may have to stock up on a few maternity items at those prices!!!

I'm the same--been trying to buy clothes that I know will last me through winter, spring and summer  Although I'm not too worried about summer since I tend to think it's cold until July around here.

The summers have been getting a bit cooler in the beginning months - June and July. This summer, I hope it stays like that. LOL I've been pregnant in the summer before BUT not during my biggest, last months of pregnancy. This one should test my patience :)

I know that you are used to Texas and the temperatures would be certainly different from there to here. But I remember Ontario's summers a long time ago and it was horrible. Hot and humid. UGH! I guess the climate is changing :)

Are you due in late July or early August? I feel for us. LOL

I went to the site that morning and because I had to get my kids off to school, I couldn't order. When I went back in later that afternoon, most of the stuff I wanted was put on sale :)

The velour sweatsuits cost me $24.98 each. That's a bargain for those!

They really do have some good prices...I was amazed.

The shipping was quick from US to here too.

BUT, I have to go and get the pants taken up a bit, as I do with all pants I buy. ROFL The problems with being short!

Late July and July is very hot and very humid here which I don't like at all--I grew up in a very dry but hot climate in the Texas Panhandle so humidity does me in. I don't plan to leave the apartment during the last part of my pregnancy

I need not ask if you have an air conditioner :) Everyone in Ontario has one :)

I don't blame you....I wouldn't go out of my house at anytime with the weather like that :)

I live in New England and it's beautiful here. Our snow season ended and now everything is blossoming.Summer starts in june already but it's not too hot.I do however celebrate my bithday in july on the beach or the lake.

Do pregnant women feel temperatures differently?

Well, most definitely the bigger you are and in the later months, one will feel the temperatures differently. In the later months, the baby is bigger, it takes more energy to walk and do anything thus creating more heat. Breathing can become more laboured to. In addition, one can experience hot flushes, which isn't fun either.

I've always been happy that I with my other pregnancies I didn't have to suffer the heat of summer in my biggest months. Well, this time around I have no choice. It will be interesting!

I felt like I was carrying a heating unit round me in the summer months before DD was born early November - and I doesnt exactly get warm here in England is the summer!!!
