I'm bleeding again!

This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks that I have started bleeding. This past Friday, I passed 2 clots the sized of grapes! As of that day, the baby was doing very well according to the U/S and its heartbeat.

They want me back in for another scan in an hour!

This is driving me crazy!

Have they diagnosed you with having a placenta previa or low lying placenta. Sometimes that can cause bleeding. Intercourse can also contribute to bleeding as well. I am sorry that you are going through such a rough time right now.

I hope all goes well, i bled twice 5 days apart in my 10th and 11th week and passed small clots both times ...i'm currently in my 12th week and i had a scan and the doctor had no explanation for it. I was really worried but once i had the scan it put my mind at rest.

Everything looks normal! The baby is growing like a weed on steroids (lol) and the heartbeat was at 167!

They think the bleeding and clotting is resulting from a small cyst on my left ovary.

I go back for another scan next Friday for another look, but my OB is very optimistic that everything will be just fine with the baby.

Again, thanks! I really don't know what I would do without you guys.
