I'm Breastfeeding an 18month old-AND 20wks Pregnant!

This is such a milestone for us for so many reasons.
We re-lactated. Such hard work but so amazing. I LOVE breastfeeding, I wanted to feed to term and then found out we were expecting #2. Delighted about that, feeling so blessed and really thankful as we had such a hard time conceiving DD.

My milk dried up about 4 weeks ago, but she was happy to dry nurse. The colostrum came in this week and she is having a party with the thick stuff. So here we are, 18 months old, 20 weeks pregnant and going strong.

Maybe I'll end up tandem feeding, who knows?! I'm just excited to have got this far.

I admire your persistence so much. You are an inspiration to so many of us on the BF board. Congrats on getting this far. I hope you do manage to tandem feed if that's something you want!

We're just taking it a day at a time really. I'm not opposed to tandem feeding at all. We'll see how the next few month go.
