Ok, so....

Have explained all this on the TTC forum, but I'l do it again. I normally have a cycle between 21-23 days. Last cycle was only 20 days! I didn't chart this month as I don't always have an obvious temp shift, but I usually know when I've ovulated as I get EWCM, feel extremely randy , and sometimes have cramps. Anyway, this month I had all these signs on day7-8 of my cycle which is normal for me. I then had all the signs again on day 13-14! So I might be 13dpo, or I might be 8dpo. Have taken a test this morning and BFN. I'm almost hoping :witch: shows up so I can start again!

Can someone please come and hold my hand while I drive myself insane....??

ypu may have oved twive?? as long as you bdd you have it covered hun c

Can you ovulate twice then? We did BD but we've had a busy month and only managed it twice.... once on day 8 and once on day 15 so at least it was reasonably well timed!!

I think that some women get a second dose of EWCM when they implant so it might have been that. What kind of test did you use?

I used a clearblue digi, but then found out they're not v. sensitive, so I got a superdrug one instead and used that later in the morning (hadn't had a drink so still like FMU I guess?).

I know I'm being daft and I'll either get a BFp in the next few days of AF will arrive and that'll be that. But I think I'm just having a negative moment...!

Not sure about ovulating twice - look at this - https://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Can_You_Ovulate_Twice_in_One_Cycle

Can You Ovulate Twice in One Cycle? Clearing Up the Confusion
In general, most medical references will say that you ovulate once during a cycle. This means that you can release one or more eggs during one twenty-four hour period, which is, of course, known as ovulation.

Can you release two or more eggs over the entire course of one cycle?
No--you only release eggs during one 24 hour period. You could not, for example, release eggs on day 14 of your cycle and then again on day 23 of your cycle.

It's not much comfort but you're not alone! I'm early testing and have been getting BFN's. I've done some research today and with the time it takes for the egg to be released after the LH surge, the time it can take for implantation, the time it takes for HCG to double up enough to show on a test etc it is so hard to judge when each person should be able to test and get a BFP.

Try and hold off for a couple of days and maybe think about what you want to do next month to help things along. It was suggested to me earlier today and has stopped me climbing the walls - hope it does the same for you. xx

Thanks ladies.

It's just annoying not knowing which way it's gonna go. I'm starting a new job tomorrow and I was kinda hoping to go in knowing whether or not I'd be asking for maternity leave....! (Good timing eh?)

I know what you mean - I always have of dead line which I want to know by! Good luck with the new job!

I'll hold your hand!:flower: I am either 8dpo or 5dpo myself. I have irregular cycles (as I've beaten to a dead horse on other threads), so depending on my calculations based off last cycle, I'm 8dpo; or if I go by symptoms (cramping, OV pain, headaches, EWCM, and a faintly positive OPK), I'm 5dpo.

So I can completely understand making yourself crazy! Every little twinge is making me more insane. :haha:

Well, still no AF. And if I'm going by the second possible ovulation date then I think I'll be 10dpo tomorrow. So I suppose I could test again....

Why do we do this to ourselves???
