I feel like I'm waiting too long to go to the doctors for the first time. Actually at the moment I can't remember the name of it ummm prenatal care? I'm booout estimated 12weeks and I have to wait and see if I got accepted for Medicaid and hope I got accepted...if I didn't I will have to figure something else out because I or my family can't afford it. Idk I just want to go and make sure everything is going well

I didn't see my MW until I was 10+5 and she arranged my 12 week scan for me, nd gave me leaflets & filled out my maternity notes, but that can really happen anytime.
They will arrange a scan for you asap to establish how far along you are.
If you want get some Pregnacare vitamins.

i wasnt scheduled to see my dr till i was alomst 11 weels along and even if u go now and ur accepted later they will go back and pay it. but you definantly need to go to the doctor.

Hey hun , you should be accepted for medicare they dont deny many people ...in the case that they do there are always clinics and places like that , they dont cost much they are pretty reasonable! Keep us updated I hope everything works out for you!

Thanks lol actually I didn't know free clinics only accepted Medicaid I thought They were you know free. It was shocking and it makes me wonder where the homeless go.

i did the same thing you did. you do NOT need to wait. They will retro it back and pay all the doctor bills. If i would have known this i would have had more prenatal care than i have had. i waited till 22 weeks pregnant because that's when i got accepted and my doctor said I could have came and you just need to keep all the dr bills etc, andpay stubs from a job if you have one? I really wishi would haveknown this.

Like some of the others girls have said, Medicaid will go back and pay all doctor bills up to a certain point. I know because I've had to go through it many times when there were changes in my case.

They won't deny you. At the very least you'll get coverage while you're pregnant, and baby will get coverage when he/she is born. You should get coverage after that, too. They usually continue to cover you because they want baby to have a healthy parent.

Last, I know that my doctor won't even see anyone for prenatal care until they're 8 weeks along (dumb, I know) so according to that you're only one appointment behind.

Good luck, hun. :)

Wow yeah I might go ahead and set up an appointment and by time it gets here I'll either have or it will get paid. That's really cool thanks!
