i'm going crazy,please help

Hi everyone,I hope someone can shed some light on my situation.
I started the birth control pill in july i stopped taking it during the 'off week'(by that time i was having my period).
2 weeks after that my period started again(withdrawal bleed?)It's been about 8 days since that last period about 4-5 days ago I started spotting brown/pink.
What could the problem be?Is there a chance I somehow ovulated and got pregnant?Or is it time to see the doctor?

I would do a HPT to see what comes up, but I would most likely put the random bleeding down to your hormones readjusting themselves. Having said that, it's not that normal to get a really upset cycle after taking the pill for such a short time, so I would probably have a chat with my doc too.
