Hi every1,

I have seen this site a few times and read some of the forums and decided to join today.

Well I have been ttc for the past two years and nothing, so my partner and I went to the doctor, which I was really scared about going as I had a bad feeling that something may be wrong with me. My partner's sperm test came back great so I new then it was me....... anyway I went for my HSG test Friday just gone which I really did not like and it turns out that both of my tubes are blocked, I feel heartbroken. The Radiologist said that one is completley blocked and expanding and the other is slightly blocked close to the uterus. I was advised to ring my DR in 2-3 weeks and I really cannot wait until then to find out what the next step will be, does anybody have any ideas? Will I have to have surgery or do I need IVF, will they remove my tubes?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi huni firstly want to send you huge , I know how devastating the results can be & at the moment you will more than probably be feeling very lost confused and alone, we have all been there here & we are all there for you.

Now I cant't be 100% sure but if both your tubes are blocked I'm pretty sure IVF will be your next step as in the UK they dont try and clear blockage/repair tubes as they say the success rate is not high enough.

If you ever need to talk/rant I more than happy to be there for you/listen in anyway I can.

Im Not To Sure On What Happens Next For You Hun But I Know When I Had The HSG Last Year They Told Me That If there Were Any Blockages That In Some Cases Doing The Dye Test Can Sometimes Un Block Them So You Never Know..

They Could Maybe Do A Lap & Dye Through Keyhole Surgery, But Im Really Not Sure Hun But I Didn't Want To Read And Run ..

Thought it might be Keyhole Surgery to see what the blockages were due to. When I had the HSG they did say they may push some of the blockages out but no that didn't work there both still blocked, grrrrrr!!

Hey Hun, Just wanted to say hi and say sorry about your results. I felt so down when I was diagnosed with PCOS - Difference is I guess that I have managed to get my cycles pretty regular with lifestyle changes.
I really hope they get it sorted soon and you get your much awaited

Well I am waiting for my results from HSG and was told that I would get them in the next 2-3 weeks but the radiologist had already told me them and then I haven't got my next appointment till 1st December, which seems really far away! I just wanna no y my tubes are blocked

Very happy for u that u have managed to get ur cycles regular. How long you been ttc?
