Sorry for the late post but on the 20th of july i had my baby girl

Isabella Emily Mae :)

With the most amazing 5 hours labour :)

It went so quick and i acctually enjoyed it :)

I love her sooo much... and my partner has been amazing! I dont know how i would have done it without him! :haha:

I dont really have time to post a full birth story and might get round to it later in the week.. but here are a few things i found out during my labour journey!

Dont worry too much about packing your hospital bag ( i spent weeks packing and unpacking) i literally used my nightys, pants and a vest top and that was it! So all the other stuff i packed literally was useless!

Student midwives are amazing ( i put in my birthplan that i didnt really want one during my labour, slightly mean of me i know) But the student midwife i had was AMAZING and i dont think i would have enjoyed my labour without her.. and i defo wouldnt be breastfeeding so well if she hadnt had helped me!

When you come out of hospital feel free to tell guests to GO AWAY... i wish i had they just hung around for hours and eventually i fell asleep and they got the hint...

Dont bother buying much newborn clothes if you get told your baby will be aveage size.. i got told Isabella would be a 6/7lb baby and she came out 8lb 12.. so none of her beautiful newborn outfits fitted her!

Dont feel as thought you have to be super mum ... if during labour you need more pain relief than you originally wanted go for it .. only you know your body!

Nap Nap Nap.. whenever and wherever you can!

Breastfeeding if you can do it is an amazing feeling even if you only do it once.... i sat in tescos car park yesterday and fed her and didnt care about the looks people gave me i just enjoyed the moment and the fect that i was feeding the most precious thing in the world to me!:happydance:

Anyways i hope some of this helps..

Good Luck Ladies xxxxx
