im so confused, can lasies who know anything about hormone levels help me please?

i rant the drs for my hormone levels and she said it was positive (which i knew lol) so i asked for the number and she said 'it says 13 dash 345.0' so thats 13-345.0 what does that mean?

I think she meant the dash should be a comma, so it would be 13,450.

over 1000 you should be able to see something

It could be 13-345 which is considered positive range. Was a qualitive or quantitive test requested? THey made a mistake with mine and though I was having series Hgc the first just came back positive and the receptionist at my doc said it means within positive range. THey had to phone back and tell them to retest for a quantitive figure which at 4+5 was 73 it was not till the next one that we really saw the difference

no, he only did the first one to see if my level were over 1000 so i could have a scan, if they weren't the scan would be pushed back to next week. i rang and the receptionist gave me the results and didnt mention about the scan being re booked so i rang the epu and im still booked in for tomorrow.

Well if worst comes to worst you will not see much on the scan justa sac and they will tell you to come back in a couple of weeks. I really would not worry
