i'm thinking of getting a tattoo for our babies...

i don't have any tattoo's at all, but i used to want the chinese symbol for luck on my ankle, but never got round to it, but now having lost my 7th baby i want to do something permanent to remember them. i know it seems so odd to want to remember the babies that couldn't stay with us, but after 7 losses i need to remember them. am i making any sense?

this is the sort of thing i was thinking of, but not sure if it's a bit dorky, i made it on the computer so doesn't really have character yet, but it's the gist of it.

That is BEAUTIFUL, and I love the quote and of course it is not odd at all to want to remember your children!!!! Especially through artwork. I got 2 tattoos inspired by my one angel baby. I think yours will be lovely when complete and inked

Make sure to have a look through their portfolios to see that they are true tattoo artists and not just tattooists (I had one lady, who was supposed to be great, do a tat for me and she ended up pushing too hard which made the ink "blow out" [spread out] under my skin and outside the lines of the tattoo, plus her lines were squiggly so I had to get it totally redone and covered up!! lol sorry don't mean to scare you I'm sure there are lots of great tattoo artists in Scotland!

I think it is perfect. I was also thinking of getting one on my inner wrist with her name AVA and her date 3/3/11 and maybe a little angel or dove not sure yet. When you have it done post a picture I would love to see it..
