Implant..

I had my implant removed on Tuesday last week, yesterday I started bleeding really heavy. Would this be my first proper period or just my body reacting to having it out? Really hoping my bleeding will go back to normal now, as whilst on the implant I bled for the whole 7 months. I had it in about 4 weeks pp.
