implantation bleeding?

I'm having a similar thing happening. AF is due on Tuesday but yesterday I had light pink spotting and now today I have red mucus (tmi!). I've never had spotting before and usually my period starts of brown and not red.

It's not quite enough to warrant a pad or a tampon tho. I have cramping too like period pains but it doesn't quite feel the same.

Is it probably AF come early or could it be implantation bleeding?

I have read that a few people have implantation bleeding but its usually before they are due on. I dont think its actually that common from what ive read..but i may be wrong. I have had 4 pregnancies and have never had it. Implantation cramps - yes, i am having them now [ got my bfp yesterday] Most of the time tbh, sadly, it is AF coming..for me anyway. I can spot a few days before AF comes so when i see the bleeding..i usually think AF and it always is.

Similar thing here, too. *TMI* I spotted CD's 23-27 and I never spot in between AFs. It was heavy enough that I needed to wear a pad, but not heavy enough that it it filled it up. It was mostly dark brown (old) blood except a few times there was red mucous stuff. gross. Either way, it stopped after 4.5 days.

Hi Everyone - I was just wondering the same thing, my AF isn't due for another 3 days, but on friday night i started bleeding (sorry if this is TMI). It was really heavy the saturday but today its not heavy at all. Before this i was having typical early pregnancy symptoms - nausea, frequent weeing, high temp etc. Do you think i could still get my BFP?

I think the vast majority of people dont have it...allthough saying that, a friend i know did and it was light brown discharge.

Implantation bleeding typically occurs between 6 DPO and 12 DPO, that being said every source on the internet says implantation bleeding should only be spotting or very light flow of pink or brown blood (never bright red) and can occur from a few hours to a couple of days. However, there is a thing called decidual bleeding which occurs around your expected period and can be a medium to heavy flow as long as it isnt bright red (as it is usually brown, old blood). Hope this helps, both could still mean you're PG as long as you dont see your normal AF!
