Implantation pain any thoughts x

Painful cramps have come back this afternoon which feel like the pains that happen the day AF is due but I am only on 5dpo. I get spotting a week before my AF so its possible I may get some spotting tomorrow but I don't remember getting pains like this at this time of my cycle. FX I get through tomorrow without any spotting. It may seem like a silly question, but does spotting mean that I am not pregnant?

Spotting a week before AF does not mean you aren't pregnant. It usually means a fluctuation in your hormones just caused you to spot a little. Maybe when you ovulated you bleed and it just is such a small amount/slow bleed that it takes a couple days to make it's way out.

Never fear Spotting doesn't usually mean mush and can be a good sign of fertility if it happens at/around ovulation

Thanks Gigglebox. I usually get spotting on the run up to the day my AF arrives so I have always taken it as a sign that my AF will arrive shortly. Hopefully I wont get any this month or if I do it doesn't mean that my AF is on its way.

Many women get spotting throughout pregnancy, so it defiantly dosnt mean you arn't pregnant
I never get spotting between periods and when I was pregnant i got spotting and that reason i tested. So now im in tww im looking out for spotting, If i get any ill be over joyed
Iv had more cramping today, and little twinges in lower left just above pubic area. who knows what they mean we just have to wait..dam it!

Thanks for the congrats mommyandbump, don't worry just yet, there's still loads of time for BFP to show up, i got mine on 14dpo, before that i tested about 6 days before af was due and then everyday onward and kept on getting horrible BFN's, definately thought i was out for this month, you are probably just testing too early like me, keep you're positivity going and as they say it's not over until af shows her evil head it's funny because everyone tells you about the different pregnancy signs to look for, all i felt was cramping for one day and a little extra tired than usual, so keep your head up because you've got loads of time for that BFP to show x

i just had to pee on a stick! i know i tested to early so trying not to get disheartened, ill buy some internet cheapies tomorrow or wednesday and test from then, may hold out + buy them wednesday-thursday so atleast i won't be tempted to test if there isnt any in the cupboard
iv been cramping alot and lower back ache. and i had sharp pain in left ovary area then a sharp pain in same place that made me jump. have bad lower back ache now that area where i had pain feels itchy now lol im going ttc crazy and only first month lol x

I am currently on 8DPO and getting more and more hopeful by the day (I really wish I could be blase about it all, it would be so much less stressful).
As mentioned earlier I have been suffering bad cramps since 3DPO which eventually eased at 6DPO. Also from 6DPO I started suffering from sore throat which lasted to 7DPO.
This is a really stupid symptom spot but this morning the colour around my nipples (can't remember what they're called) have changed colour. I know that the common pregnancy symptom is that they darken but mine have really lightened. Its really odd and my OH couldnt stop laughing when I told him about it.
There is no sign of the spotting yet and I just feel really strange (mostly in the morning).
Will let you know if anything else happens.

Happyshopper that sounds v promising! youv had same cramps as me, mine started about 4dpo with lower back ache as well. convinced i was about to come on period as they were so similar! they eased off but back ache stayed. 9dpo had more af type cramps quite intense. more today. weird!
fair enough im right by af time so to be expected but not when they started at 4dpo!

today i threw up as well from smell of spice when i cook it every day. had twinges in left ovary area then sharp pain + sharp pain right side as well. more bubble popping feeling in uterus area which i had at 5dpo. defiantly not stomach, in pubic area in area above pubic bone.
it says on ticker to test tomorrow! but isnt it usually 14dpo when we test ?

Hi Ladies I am gatecrashing...sorry!
I tested yesterday (af due 8th, spotting ....fx implantation....on the 5th) I am sure there was a line yesterday, very very faint but I took the test apart and it was easier to see but today BFN........should I test tomorrow of wait a feewmore days....af due tomorrow. Elizabeth I am hoping I am like you....
Mummyandbump yours all sounds promising,as does everyone elses symptoms.....fx for everyone.
And Mummyandbump I agree, Losses are painful and emotional no matter what because you get attatched the second you get that pos test!

I think I started spotting this afternoon. I hope its not a sign that AF is on her way but now I feel really low . When I wiped myself after going to the toilet (sorry TMI) there was a some fresh blood and now its just brown spotting. I don't think it was IB as I have had it twice over the past year followed by AF shortly afterwards. One I thought could have been a chemical because I felt something twang inside me before the bleeding started.

I felt so sure I was pregnant and I know there's still a chance, but going to see what happens tomorrow.

This is too surreal, I was planning to hold off till atleast the 12th, I'm just hoping its NOT coming 6 days early, is that possible, I just went to the bathroom again and it was just a tad light brown discharge (tmi) sorry... What do you think, I have a lil cramping very mild and have had lil pings here and there... I hate the female stuff, so damn confusing...

between every book i've read, everything i have seen on the internet, and from people i know, every pregnant woman has been soooo certain she was about to start that even weeks into her pregnancy she would run into the bathroom with a tampon... thts HOW MUCH pregnancy feels like AF...dont lose hope yet
