Implantation vs. Secondary Estrogen Surge?

Morning everybody. If you all would be so kind as to look at my chart I would be very grateful.

I had a .3 temp dip at 7dpo with some pressure/achy pain on my left lower back. I woke up this morning at 8dpo about an hour before I normally do and took my temp to be safe...it was same as yesterday 98.1. Temped again after falling back asleep for an hour produced 98.4.

Firstly, would you consider this a legitimate temp dip? Secondly, when does the secondary estrogen surge normally happen? I don't want to confuse implantation with that

Side note: It is my normal to wake up about an hour or 2 before my alarm to pee real quick so all my temps should be affected by that.

You should take your temp after 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and before you do ANYTHING else.

At least that's what all the books say, but they don't account for REAL LIFE!

And btw, your chart looks AMAZING~ Just thought I would throw that out there =)

I was looking for a chart to compare it to, but you don't have any previous cycles listed? It's hard to know if it's really implantation or not without a positive test. Maybe if you had spotting I would say it's more likely, but you just don't know until you are preggers if it was or not, but it does look promising =)

I would use your first temp since after only an hour of sleep it would not be accurate. Testing within an hour early is normally pretty accurate for me.

Thank you so much ladies! I agree Benjismom, I never realized how much I woke up before my alarm until I started temping. Thank you for the chart compliment lol. This is my first cycle so hard to see any patterns yet. I figured since my pre-ov temps vary by .3 or .4 degrees I shouldn't read tooo much into it.

Silly autocorrect. *it would. Last night's sleep was sucky. woke up literally every hour for a few minutes before going back to sleep. Temped an hour later than yesterday and 98.6, but who knows with the sleep pattern of last night. I'll test tomorrow since I have the internet cheapie tests.

Curiousowl (love that name btw) I took your recommendation and changed my temps to the first temps I did to see if I would get a more accurate picture. Either way nothing is very clear

Not pregnant. Though I think it was amazing how my temp dropped and then voila, AF later that day. We've decided to take a break and build up our savings account.
