Does anyone else feel in limbo? I'm waiting for a hcosy test to check my tubes as i'm not ovulating. But until i can get my appointment in 2 weeks time, I feel like I can't even try to conceive, because nothing will happen?

We are being recommended IUI but I have the feeling now that my tubes are blocked, so i won't ovulate until I at least get a laproscopy.

Plus AF showed up today (after a month of trying very hard!!) so im feeling particularly awful and rubbish (sob).

Sorry this turned into a bit of a moan, just wondered if anyone else felt in that same place of limbo-land?

baby dust to all xx

hi Liz!
i'm sorry to hear about AF showing up.

i've been in limbo-land since we started TTC for more than a year now, lol. It has been such a roller coaster of emotions for us.

seriously though, i completely understand how you feel. Hang in there, dear and keep a positive outlook. Take it one day at a time :hugs:

HI Yellowbell thanks for the reply :-)

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat - a roller coaster is a great description! Ups and downs all the time. Today is definately a downer, just when you think you're getting somewhere af shows up!

Trying to stay positive though. Good luck with you ICSI - how's it going?

Like you im also 31, ttc for a year. Lets pray we get our bfp soon!! xx

I feel in limbo because until I turn 23 in october and my hubby FINALLY gets time to have his second sperm analysis we cant be seen by an IVF specialist and thats our next step. The tests only run on a friday but he cant have any days off yet as he's just started a new job!

I'm in limbo waiting to get to the top of the world's stretchiest waiting list. I'm waiting for an egg donor, which seems to be taking forever.

When I joined the waiting list in October it was 6 months. When I rang in January it was 6 mnths. In May it was 2 months - and June, July, August too.

I will ring again in a week or so - am hoping to hear something other than 2
blummin months!

Feel like I am in limbo most of the time. In the beginning I felt bad, then I felt hopeless now I feel... well limbo is the best way to explain since Limbo is by definition a painful place where you can not get your self out... nothing you do seems to help.
... Though I really hope that the Low GI diet that I have now started will help me it is just so difficult to imagine being pregnant after trying for more than 4 years.
Best wishes, A

Thanks for the replies ladies.
Honeybee hope your hubby gets the SA done soon!
Urchin hope that stretchy waiting list actually reduces - why can't they commit to a date - what part of west mids are you in? Im in cov and warks and the lists seems to be ok, not sure about egg donor listss though.
Amber, good luck, are you undergoing any treatment ?

I'm on my third week of down regulation, hopefully next week I'll start stimming and have egg collection and embryo transfer by last week of Sept.

Yeah, let's stay positive. It WILL happen for us!! :dust:

Dear Liz
Sorry about the AF. We have been on different hormones with NaProTEchnology. I also had my tubes done long ago. I have one functioning.
Now I am doing the Low Gi Diet which is hard but has led to succes for many. I hope it will work. We have also started the long adoption proces here.
Best wishes,
Amber

I agree, limbo is a great description of how I'm feeling. We've been ttc for two years now, referred to a specialist back in Jan, appointment through for Oct, as I'm pretty sure I don't ovulate (negative opk constantly, completely irregular periods) it feels like there is no point in trying until we've seen the specialist! Lets all try to keep positive and remember we're lucky to have someone to try with!;-) fingers crossed for you all.
