I'm 18 and my mum is pretty strict I have no idea how to tell her I am pregnant. I've been going through so many ways of trying to tell her but I am absolutely terrified and it's stressing me out quite a bit which is really unhealthy for the baby, just need some guidance really as I can't explain how scared I really am.

First off, :hugs:.
I understand the terrified feeling. I am 21 and haven't lived at home for 3 years and I am scared too!
I'm sure your mother has probably already picked up on the fact that you're pregnant. Moms just seem to always "know". I think if you are really as scared as you seem you should maybe just consider writing her a letter and giving it to her? That way you can edit it a few times and make it exactly how you want to say it before you give it to her and also you don't have to be there with her and let her cool down before you talk to her. Sooner rather than later always seems like the best thing to do though.

:hugs::hugs:
I'm sure that she will be understanding and come around.

Heey :) My name is Ashley, I'm 17 and pregnant with my second. I had my first at 14.
I think the best way is to maybe go out somewhere open and just talk about it, or just sit with her at home and slowly talk her through it.
How far along are you? Congrats!

Welcome and Congratulations on your pregnancy!
My advice to you would be to do what you feel comfortable doing. At 18 you are legally an adult, therefore, the most she can do it get pissy/yell/etc. Most parents are a bit disappointed at first, but quickly get over it!
Im Lisa, and Im 21. My daughter Emma is 3.5, and my son Coltin is 7 months.

I agree with the pp's, either write a letter to tell her in the way you want to and that gives her an oppurtunity to get over the shock a bit and take it in before speaking face to face. Or take her out to a public area and tell her that way, as she hopefully wont yell that way. She could even take it much better than you think. The sooner you let her know, the calmer you will feel. Lastly congratulations! I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months xx
