in so much pain!

A week or so ago, I had a chest infection. I finished a course of antibiotics, and feel loads better, except for this horrible pain in my back! It's kind of in the middle, and is unbarable I;ve got a chesty cough too. Anyone have any ideas?
I've booked to go to the doctors,but I'm terrified These fears are sooo irrational... I'm scared they'll send me to the hospital and I'll have to have to have a tube down my throat... I've got a phobia of being sick, and that sounds horrible. I'm also scared I'll be put on a drip of some kind, or have to have something that involves one of those *things* in my hand or elbow. I mean one of those needles that stay in and they pump you with stuff. I'm not scared of needles, but those things scare me... Pathetic, I know!
