ok,my fob just dropped the child home,he hasnt taken him for his visits for the last two weeks because was off on holidays! his 3rd one this year!! but anyway,i booked the babys christening, gave him 3weeks notice about time, date, place etc.............and that my brother and my aunt would be standing godparents for him.at my door i just got earfulls of abuse saying im pushing him out of his sons life and that im a bitch etc and hes not going to bother with us anymore...........im actually livid and very upset too!! he wants his older bro to be godfather which is why he is kicking off and going mad at me! his brother aparantly "thinks im a c*nt!" and hates me and never asks for the baby, how he is etc,he hasnt spoken 1 word to me since my son was even born...not even a congratulations when i gave birth!!
anyway after an earful and shouting etc,he went off...only to come back with one of"the lads" and rev the engine of the car up and down the road where i live, bang on my door and refuse to go away!! i had to call on my neighbour who also had a young baby and even called the police, who said they would send someone up to his house!
he has told me he will go thru whatever legal proceedings he can so that our son cannot be christened and that he is ringing the priest tomorrow as soon as possible and calling it off! that he will take me to court over it etc etc etc....we have already been to court for access and he does have "guardianship" as well as me,but I have full custody of my son and I also have a signes solicitors letter that says i have"primary car and control" of my son,all he has is acess.does anyone know if he can stop he christening etc??? please advise!!?? im quite upset as you can imagine..this man has already ruined my pregnancy, birth and most of the past year of my life and my baby is nearly 1??? thanks

:hugs:

I honestly don't know, hun, if he has any legal rights over this. Is he the type to actually call the priest, do you think, or is it all talk? Is there anyone in his family you could get to have a word with him?

oh he will call him tomorrow! i am going to go up to the church 1st thing! it is so childish, and no,unfortunatly his mother would encourage him and is more trouble than helpful! he almost broke my wrist when pregnant and made my life a living HELL!! no exaggeration!! at all! i wouldnt mind,i told him id like him to come and help me and pick the babys suit and blanket and all the family could come back to my house afterwards and if he wanted readings etc done by his sisters etc it could be arranged as to involve them...but he wasnt havn any of it! i cant win! i honestly dont know what to do!:gun:

i don't think he can stop it but no actually sure hun maybe got to cinten advise (sp?) xx

I dont think he can stop it if you are the one with main custody, like PP said going to citizens advice is probably a good idea or if you have a solicitor speak to them x

hope what a twat! sorry but he needs to grow up...
i hope you get it sorted if he turns up again kicking off call the police straight away..
he should have more respect for your son.. kicking off while he is in the house...
xx
