So this morning my toddler decided to body slam himself onto my belly... I have been in some pretty decent pain since then and baby's movements have stopped entirely... I have yet to feel any movements since the incident... And that was hours ago...

Took the nurses a while to find the heartbeat and when they did find it, it was high and erratic indicating distress... I am so afraid of losing this rainbow baby... My heart is aching with terrible thoughts... I hope to get some answers soon... I am freaking out!

Oh no that's awful, really hope little one is ok, I always thought they were well cushioned inside please let us know how u get on :hugs:

They did a swab to make sure any discharge I am having is not amniotic fluid and it was negative so thank of for that! I have had blood drawn and urine taken just waiting for an ultrasound to confirm everything is ok.

Ah you poor thing.
Hoping everything is OK with your baby.
X

Hope it's all ok, sending positive thoughts x

Praying for you! I hope all of the upcoming tests are reassuring and all is well.

Hi everyone! Thank you for your lovely words of support. I am now home from the hospital and on pelvic rest for the rest of today. The ultrasound revealed a very healthy and happy baby playing about and sucking it's thumb. I definitely had the ugly cry on, once it was all revealed to be ok in there, out of sheer relief. I did have some bruising in my lower abdomen on the site of where my son pounced on me. The baby was pushed way down to just over my cervix and toward my back which is why I wasn't feeling much movement afterwards. It took the nurses a long time to find the heartbeat on the Doppler but did eventually find it. I am beyond relieved right now!!

That's great!
You rest now mamma!

So happy for you and so pleased little one is okay!

I am so scared of my toddler hurting my belly, especially when it gets bigger. She started running up to me as though to surprise me and she'd whack my belly (when i was around 5 weeks) and i knew i had to stop her from doing it. I'm really scared of her being so rough when i've got a big baby belly!

It was so painful when he jumped on me, it took my breath away and I remember crying out. My husband freaked out on my son, who didn't mean to do it. It was an honest accident and he forgot himself. He cried and apologized profusely but I know my hubs was just scared as he is already so protective of me and tries to keep our little guy in line.

I just feel like I can breathe easier now that bubs is ok and my pain is subsiding more and more as I rest. Just a few minutes ago I felt kicks I my abdomen so baby is already raising back up and away from my spine where it was hiding from big brother LOL
