I had my HSG today. The dr. was unable to insert the catheter as she said my cervix was very small and my test was inconclusive. She did insert the dye but it did not go far because of that. She said that small cervix is the cause of only 5% of infertility cases. She said it did not mean my tubes were blocked. I was told I could keep trying for 2-3 months more and if not successful they could do aother HSG with anesthesia where they would dilate the cervix. What do you guys think...is this hampering me getting pregnant. The dr. did not say anything about that. She did tell me that I could call her if I had questions. I want to do my bit of research before I call her so that I can have all my questions answered.
