We're just trying Tom (4 weeks) with infacol as he's really windy but I can't work out the best way to give it to him. He likes to sit really upright with his bottles but when I tried putting infacol in in this position he spat most of it out. Next time I tried tipping him back a bit and that just made him choke first before spitting it out again!

How do you get the infacol into the mouth in a way that makes it stay in without pouring it down their throat so they choke?????

I put it into the cheek cavity (just point it at the cheek and put it in there slowly) and he will probably swallow it.

Hello
My baby boy is 5 weeks old and has been on infacol sine 3 days old =[
He is a very windy baby and is also on gripe water i have changed his bottles twice i am now using Dr browns bottles.
I have tried everything as you can see and nothing works!!! It might do for you!!
I give infacol while he is sat upright and he never liked it at first but now he seems to like the taste!! Good luck

I'll try putting it in his cheek and see if that works. Glad to hear your little boy now likes the taste pinklady1 - Tom seems to hate it at the moment after lots of people told me that babies love it! Hopefully it will grow on him too if it helps with the wind.

My little girl screwed her face up like we had just squeezed lemon juice into her mouth the first few times we gave it to her and spat most of it up, but now she seems to associate infacol with getting a feed and has learnt to swallow it. She is usually lying back a bit when we give it to her.and we too put it into her cheek!!
Good luck

1st time he spit it. I have the bottle ready, & I immediately give him the bottle before giving him a chance to spit it. Now he knws, taking infacol means BOTTLE IS COMING.

Good q, i was wondering this too.

Thanks :)

I just waited til he had his mouth open (usually screaming because hungry) and squirted it in quick. If I occasionally missed, I scooped it up with a clean finger and put it in his mouth.
