Can i give them both at the same feed?Infacol before to stop to wind and gaviscon to stop acid? Wasnt sure if both could be used

im not sure, we've never given them together only seperately, sorry i cant help.

I asked the pharmacist this when Morgan first started Gaviscon when she was 6 weeks old...

She said it was perfectly ok, however, you need to try and give the Infacol a good 20 mins before the feed for it to work effectively... which can be easier said then done unless you have a rough idea when LO is likely to want feeding.

I don't know if you FF or BF, but if you use bottles, I totally recommend using Dr Brown's bottles (if you're not already!) because as soon as we started using those, we found we could cut out the Infacol almost immediately!

I am BF. She seems ok most of the time but sometimes she seems not not br able to get her wind up and get pains in her tummy and is unsettled so thought she might have needed both but didnt know if it was ok

Yeah I asked the hv when courtney was on gaviscon... its fine cos they both do different things :)

I was giving bub infacol, but was told not to by my gp, there little bodies will start to rely on the chemicals...
