Hi I'm living in the UK and am looking into giving birth at either a midwife led centre or at home, but I wouldn't know where to start. What are the pros and cons (or where can I find this information) and how do I get the ball rolling? I haven't even had my booking in appointment yet but I like to consider these things early.
Background: I was low risk throughout my last pregnancy and I started labour at 9.30am I didn't go to hospital until 1.30pm and gave birth at 4.15pm so I spent the majority of my labour at home anyway, only using gas and air at the hospital. I was 8cm when I got there and was in back labour (I thought it was a false alarm and I had spd ).
Thanks for reading
