Not looking forward to today. LO having her first injections, got my mum coming with me as I hate it. :(

Gaby has her 3rd lot this morning, it gets easier - i promise!

Elle had hers on Monday, she screamed for about 3 minutes which was horrid and that was it. She had a few runny nappies and slept a tiny bit longer than normal during the day but other than that was as happy as larry. Was a huge relief as Dr was warning me about febrile fits and stuff :-0

Max has his 2nd lot today

good luck!

You'll be fine ;) as will your LO!

I'm petrified of needles but I managed to take Isaac by myself...he cried for about 10 secs, and that was it!

No calpol, no tears, no tantrums, no extra snoozing, no more or less feeds....just as he is...

The boy done good as I'm sure your LO will ;)

Nicola xx

Awwww good luck hun :hugs:
I had to go on my own the first time and I wasnt looking forward to it at all and it wasnt sooooooo bad :hugs:

If you BF stick a boob in their mouth whilst having the injection. Reduces the scream factor by 99%.

Changed my mind! Doesn't get easier! Gaby SCREAMED and SCREAMED. It takes us an hour to walk home and she was still going strong. Its the longest I have ever heard her cry, but home now and fed and in her swing smiling away!

I took my boy foe his jabs today and....I LAUGHED! BAD MUMMY! He screamed a few seconds and then he was all smiley haha!

Well I nearly cried!!!! Mum held her and I looked away. She did scream but fed her in the waiting room and she settled down straight away and then fell asleep. She is asleep again now so hopefully she will be ok. Thanks guys.
Emalou, our LOs have the same name too!

Spoke too soon. She screamed throughout her bottle then for ages afterwards. Have managed to put her down but she keeps waking up crying. :nope:

Casey has her first jabs Monday .. really dont want to take her but i have to. Hate it when my girl cries :( Hope your LO cheers up soon xx

Awwh hun - big hugs!! It's horrible isn't it?! Amy's due her second set tomorrow. The first set knocked her for 6. She just seemed to cry/sleep/feed the whole day. BUT on the positive side she was back to normal the next day xx

Well she slept all night from 9.30pm until 5.30am so hopefully the worst over. Just have next months to deal with!
