Intense Braxton Hicks and lightning crotch!

I'm 28 weeks today, Hello third trimester! I was having a normal, productive morning when out of nowhere I had an intense shooting pain in my vagina. That was followed by some pretty intense Braxton Hicks. I drank a ton of water and layed on my left side. They are stopping, but it seems early for such a dramatic morning! I've carried this baby low all pregnancy, so clearly he's getting settled on some nerves. Has this happened to anyone else so soon? My next appointment is next Friday (17th).

I remember lightning crotch well from last time around- ouch! Sounds all quite normal, just could be baby having a big shift around x

Keep a note of it and if it seems to be happening regularly mention it to your midwife . I get BH early in my pregnancies so I'm used to them . Not had lightning crotch yet but my sciatic pain is killer and sometimes it feels like I've a bowling ball hanging out my cervix lol . Xxxx

I get intense shooting pains on and off like that for the majority of this pregnancy. I ve had BH on and off but not intense. Make sure you drink a lot of water it seems to help with BH. It sounds pretty normal. It never hurts to mention it though!

Thanks, everyone! I'm definitely bringing it up to my doctor, but I'm sure she'll tell me it's normal.

I have lightening crotch all the time. And I think baby head down now so I feel constant pressure. I can barely walk
