Hey ladies.. I know that the Dr's say to wait until your 6 week postnatal check up before you resume sexual activities however I was wondering, if you have not had an episiotimy or tearing and your bleeding has stopped for some time, would it then be OK, or should you still wait until the postnatal check up?? I had no complications with the birth and the bleeding has stopped for a while now.
It seems that now that the bump is gone, OH's sex drive has gone through the roof and there's not a day that goes by that he doesn't try to make a move and I keep telling him that I have to wait until the postnatal check up. I feel fine, and I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't want there to be any problems/complications if I don't wait.
ALSO...
My mother says that if you don't wait it out for a few months that you will end up getting loose down there (TMI?? Sorrie!!!) and this is something that I definately don't want to risk
.. However, she does have a lot of advice about a lot of things that aren't necessarily true, so I was wondering, is this true??? Any advice/comments are welcome!!!! Thanks!
