Hi everyone!
So, my beautiful little girl was born 8 days ago so I have now moved over to baby club!
Haven't written a birth story yet but will do soon. Had an induction at 39+4 after being hospitalised at 38+1 due to unstable lie (she was switching from transverse to cephalic regularly and when cephalic still had a dangerously high
head).
My son was also an induction at 42+2 (he was born 2 days later at 42+4) and I had a horrendous experience, a 45 hour labour which ended in fetal distress (as well as meconium in waters) and a forceps delivery (had an epidural too).
This time I was dreading it as I ended up having to be induced the same way as I did with my son (prostin, ARM and then synto drip!) but it could not have gone better. Ended up being 2 hours established labour, clear waters, completely natural delivery with just gas and air.
Here is our beautiful little lady born Sunday 23rd August 2015 at 12:45pm weighing 7lbs 11oz.
