Because I had a planned C-section I pretty well knew what to expect. I arrived at the hospital at 9:30 am and they started getting me preped for surgery. My section was scheduled for 12 noon, but didn't get to go in till about 12:30 because my doctor had to deliver two other women before me. One was 9 cm dilated and ready to push when they were about to wheel me in to surgery and the other woman needed an emergency section. I'm not gonna lie I was terrified of getting the epidural, but honestly it was not that bad. The anesthesiologist told me that all I would feel is a big bee sting. I didn't even feel that. I began to feel a very warm feeling in my right leg and then it spread all the way up to my ribs. Then they allowed my husband into the room and he was all dressed up in those lovely scrubs. (He looked so handsome) I remember askinh the doctor if he had started yet and he told me that he was already half way in and everyone in the room giggled. I was on morphine and it was some good stuff


Before I knew it Bryson was screaming as loud as he could and I began to cry. I was on . Everyone including the doctor thought he was going to be a big baby because I was measuring so big (3 weeks ahead). But, he came out weighing 6lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long. He is wonderful!!!
