I'm thinking of starting to bring in one bottle of expressed milk a day in the next day or so. Baby has never had any problems with feeding and I feel like my supply is well and truly established.
I started pumping 3 days ago so I have a little bit stored up in the freezer but not much. I want to start giving her a bottle but I also wanna get a supply going in the freezer for when I'm not here / wanna have a drink. At the moment I'm pumping once a day so I'm getting enough for one feed a day, so if I wanna store some up as well I'll have to start pumping twice a day won't I..? One session for the freezer and one for later in the day.
I know that if I wanna introduce a bottle I've gotta keep it up so she doesn't forget, but does it have to be every day or can it be every few days?
Also, she tends to cluster feed in the evening. Would it be OK to use a bottle for (part of) this? Or would this not really work?
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
