I've gotten the outside of my invites done, and the inserts - but I cannot decide what colour paper to print the insert one. The invites are ivory and I only had white paper to test on but I'm not sure I like that, but I don't think I'm up for ivory either. Would bit be okay with a coloured paper (a pastel coloured one) or should I stick with white or something? xx

You could try Lokta paper, which is a grey-beige paper, and the colour comes from the natural fibres it's made from. The paper itself is textured and I think it's absolutely beautiful! This is the stuff https://www.fredaldous.co.uk/handmade-recycled-lokta-paper-a4-30gsm-20-sheets.html

Otherwise just try things out and see!

I was hoping you would reply lol! I will keep an eye out for that, thank you! Xx

Hope it works out, or that you find something you're happy with!

Pale pink and pale green, I've come up with an idea. I'm going to stick a green piece in first then print onto ivory paper a little smaller so it has a green border :) xx
