Irregular Cycles and Clomid pre pregnancy changed after a loss?

Hey girls,

Just want to see if there's any girls out there who had dodgy long cycles, were prescribed clomid which turned a long cycle down into a nice 30 something day cycle then fell pregnant but unfortunately ended in a loss??

I'm trying to figure out when to expect ovulation after my current m/c bleeding stops. here's my background.

had a period every other month starting september last year (nov, Jan, mar,may,july) so my cd were about 50+ ish. Was put on clomid after that and my first cycle after july went from 50 to 37 days, second cycle I ov'd even earlier so it WOULD have been 34 days but I got my bfp which ended in m/c only a few days ago.

so do you think once the bleeding stops that my cycle will go back to a "clomid" lengthed one or back to a stupid 50+ one? note I'm not taking clomid, I just don't know if my body has learnt to shorten my cycle length or if it's decided to really piss me off and will only make me fertile in about 40+ days.

I'm posting in here because I'm hoping to hear some success stories about how you were on clomid before a bfp (ended in a loss) and your body learnt to ovulate early and you got a sticky bfp

Hey there!

I found out I had poly cystic ovaries after going off the pill and got 1 period in about 8 months. Went on clomid which helped ovulation straight away to normal 30ish day length. Fell pregnant after a few cycles but ended in ectopic pregnancy and one tube removed. Got next period 2 months later without clomid then was about to start clomid again but suspected I was pregnant again & I was!! So my 2nd cycle post m/c was shorter than 1st! Now have a beautiful 7 mth old boy. I wasn't expecting my cycle to come back so soon but I hear clomid can stay in the system for a while too??
