Irregular cycles?

Is it normal to have irregular cycles for a while after baby? How long?

I had what I think what a period, although it was light and short at 8 weeks.

I had a proper, heavier than usual, period at 16 weeks.

And now I have some spotting like I'm getting another one at only 18 weeks?!

I'm feeding as much as I can, but not at all exclusively - not sure if that makes a difference!

What I'm having now is not a period, just a tiny bit of brown spotting / brown cm. never had it before though!

It may be ovulation after my first baby I had brown spotting during ovulation.
But im in a bit of a mess myself.... I bled pp for 2 weeks. Then at 6+2 I had 6 days of medium/light bleeding now at 8+3 I'm bleeding again!!!! I'm exclusively breast feeding so this is annoying

Thanks. I guess until we get into a normal pattern again, anything out of the ordinary is just our bodies getting all sorted out again?!
