i got so sick of changing my ticker i just left it as it isI'm stuck in irregular cycle hell, as i said in a another post my cycles range from 24-36 days so i never know when i'm ovulating other than going by cm, just getting my head round that, been trying since Sept 07 after coming off bcp for 11 years, can't remember AF before then. I keep changing my ticker monthly. If im not pg this mponth i at leats hope to get AF around 34 days so i can at least be regular.
im definatly going to get opks..anything to help!!Irregular AF can make getting pregnant difficult as you cant pinpoint ovulation as easily.
There are things you can do to help, you can use okps which will tell you when you are about to ovulate. You can also chart, evn though this doesnt tell you when you ovulate untill afterwards you can pick out any patterns on the charts that happen just before ovulation (for me it would be a dip in temps)
i bought some cheap opk this weekend, tested and wasn't ov'ing when i thought i was so expecting AF to come earlier than i thought. Sore nipples have arrived so think she;s on her way. I've started writing a little chart for myself with any symptons etc for the day so i can look back. Trying not to obsess over every little twinge but looking back i think i ov'ed around cd 14-16 rather than 21-22 which i should've according to last months cycle.
Loopylew has the right idea. I am irregular, anything from 29 - 35 days. Since last August I have started writing down how I feel, symptoms of af if any, date I start spotting, date I am in full flow, etc (although I ahve been writing down the date I come on and off for the last 1 1/2). It does help.
What you can then do is take your earliest date you could possibly start and bd the day before, have a day off and bd, etc etc. Have fun at the same time, although with work, life and the stress off ttc, it could be a pain.
I have to say it's so nice to hear other women struggling like me, you now know you're not the only one in the world with a pain in the bum cycle!!! Good luck to you and I wish you all the best.
how long have you been TTC ?
