im overdue and for about a week i feel so swollen in my lower tummy and ladie bits! is this normal? im engaged and feel so heavy! so could it be the weight? it sounds daft but im getting paranoid bubs might be stuck or something! lol x x

i had these pains too , but i wasnt overdue ... its just the pressure of the babys head in ur pelvis and pain is good means he wont be long and hes getting lower yay !!!

Me too!! Feels like I've been punched in my privates sorry, but that's the only way I can describe it. I'm 10 days over now and the shortest 10 minute walk is agony, feels like I'm walking with a bowling ball between my legs. Midwife said it was just babys head in position....won't be long hun

I came on to post this exact problem. I'm 2 days over and I am all of a sudden (since my due date) achey and swollen. It's actually quite painful! i feel like there is auch an immense amount of pressure down there, im expecting my waters to go with every step! Hope i dont go much longer!

Glad others have experienced the same.... I was startin to worry!

it's prefectly normal

ive had this for weeks, it's worse when i'm on my feet eg walking to the shops
my babys head isnt engaged but he has been head down since 28weeks, so
think its just the pressure of his head helped along by gravity
pushing down.

Yes, I'm in a similar situation, pains along and behind my pubic bone that come and go and period pains accross the lower part of my bump. Last night I was convinced I was going into labour but then they went! They come and go every few hours and are worse when I've just been for a wee! I think its everything becoming squashed down there thats making it so uncomfortable!
