My husband and I are registering for these classes and starting on January 22.
I can't wait:happydance:

My midwife offers one. And I want to take a hypnobirth class as well.

we are taking a relaxation for labor and delivery class and then also starting a 6 week series for 1st baby to learn about safety at home and in the car, labor and delivery, etc. We start those on the 27th this month.

I just noticed they start next Monday, not the 22nd. Even better!

I work in the maternal/fetal area of the hospital so everyday is a childbirth class for me

We are taking the Bradley Natural Childbirth classes. It's a twelve week series, it starts on Wed. I'm really excited about it. I'm also scared, because it means I'm that close to having the baby!

I wanna take as many classes as I can to be prepared :) Not sure when they are though, hopefully the midwife will tell us on Wednesday XD

I went to the labour and birth class on the 19th December, got a breastfeeding class on tuesday and another prep for parenthood class on the 16th

Me and the hubby went to a childbirth class last month, it was actually very helpful. We also have a newborn basics class this thursday night, i'm pretty excited. We were gonna go to the breastfeeding class as well but it's not until after my due date

I have my first class on breastfeeding today! Have got some others booked from the start of Feb too

I've not been to any classes at all, never even got offered any this time, i guess they assume i don't need to go. Even though the way things are done since my DD was born only 5 years ago is different to how they are done now.

The classes i went to before i had DD were really good, they prepared me for the labour, etc!!

I'm hoping I'll get news of when these are cause It's been so long as well since my first 8 years, and lots of things change.

Well I feel that I've kinda forgotten all the things I need to know about having a baby and definately want a breastfeeding class cause kinda forgotten that as well. xx

Im starting yoga in a couple of weeks, which isnt supposed to be a child birth class, but apparetly it teaches you techniques for labour and relaxation and stuff.

I think antenatal classes start from 30 weeks around here but Im not too sure.

xxx

You will really enjoy it Linzi, I try to go a few times a week to yoga classes.

I am taking mine at the end of April. Two eight-hour days. DH isn't going with me though, cause it is scheduled (the nurses pick when you go and cant re-schedule) on days that DH has fire classes and can't miss them...so I get to go alone. :(

If it were me, I would definitely try to re-schedule! I'm dragging my DH through as much of this as I have to go through!

so the first class starts tonight! i am nervous/excited!!

I didn't go to the breastfeeding one as I was ill, and I doubt i'l go to the other prep for parenthood, I went to one and didn't really feel I need to go to another
