I dont miss my baby when shes gone?

Of course I miss her, but I dont pine for her when she is at her daddys. She spends 4 nights with me, and the other 3 with her daddy. It has only been for 2 weeks (thats when we split) and I thought it was going to be so hard for me to cope with, but I really dont feel that I miss her as much as I maybe should?

I feel terrible, and think that I should miss her way more! I cant wait for the day I go get her, and when I get her I just lovelovelove her and think "oh my gosh my little princess come here" (and give a big smooshy kiss)...

Is this normal?

I know that she is well looked after and dont have to worry about her when she is away, so maybe that is one reason. Also, I really havent had any me time ever since she was born, and I may just be catching up on that?

Please tell me this is normal and Im not a bad mummy...

my baby hasn't had any time with his dad so i can't honestly say how i'd feel if was all the time but when my son was 3 months old he stayed with his aunty for the night and it was the first night i'd been away from him since he was born and most of that time i'd been on my own with him. I did miss him and i kept having silly panic attacks that my sister wouldn't be able to cope but mostly i was just glad to have some 'me' time. I miss being able to soak in the bath or watch rubbish tv without being interrupted

My baby sees his dad on a wed afternoon until 8pm and saturday morning until 4pm and I always look forward to the me time I get while hes gone but always am sooo happy to get him back in my arms! I think it is perfectly normal to enjoy the time away from ur baby as everyone needs some wind down time! And if he is well looked after and happy, theres nothing to worry about!
