Sorry for butting into the thread with questions, but RosesOfTin why do you ask could this change anything? Sorry but I have to know. I had a screwy and short af last month (which was a week late!) and still haven't O'ed yet this cycle which is late for me I had a round of prednisone last month for asthma so I am very curious....

It doesn't look like you've even ovulated yet hun... Are you temping at the same time each morning as soon as you wake? If so, then I don't think you ovulated yet... even with the pos opks. That doesn't always mean you're ovulating for sure. I'd go see a doctor and get a blood test if you're worried. I'd also print out your chart (show it after the test ) and see what they say about it. Maybe your doctor can give you medication to help you ovulate. I hope you figure it out soon hun, wish you the best xx

Prednisone and other steroids can cause a disruption in you menstrual cycle. I encountered this and so did a close friend of mine. My case was after a bout with acute bronchitis and my AF was a week late, crampy, and super short. The next cycle was 26 days instead of my average 29 day cycles which was bizarre. So yeah it screwed me all up for awhile and I was CONVINCED I was pregnant because I had no other explanation until I looked up the side effects of prednisone after my friend had told me about their eerily similar situation. So that's exactly why I asked -- prednisone sucks.

I wasnt temping at same time each day no, I was also using a bbt converter for the days I slept in. the reason im sure i ov'd is cause of cm, opks and just a feeling cause of the symptoms i was having at that time. they wont gimme clomid till I lose 70 lbs. gettina blood test asap they couldnt fit me in today at the docs

Well maybe the BBT converter wasn't accurate for you, it isn't for everyone. It's just the average. How come they won't give you clomid until you lose 70lbs?! Is there a health concern for women who are overweight that take clomid? That's odd.. if they don't prescribe you clomid, you could maybe try soy isoflavones? Hope you figure it out soon, big big xx

soy didnt work for me, but hopefully clomid might if im not ov-ing. if ur overweight in this country because of the nhs they wont give u any fertility treatment till ur under a certain weight cuase its expensive and we cant afford to go private . it sucks dunno what im gonna do x

Oh sorry, I didn't know you had tried it. Maybe it was too weak of a dose? What dose did you take? I don't know.. It doesn't work for everyone, so hopefully clomid will whenever you get it. In the mean time, just try and lose the weight and maybe you will start ovulating earlier to where you don't need clomid anymore! I really hope you get something figured out soon.. You could be! There may be some reason that caused your temps to be inaccurate or something... it can happen, it's just not very common. I'd go get a blood test! Hope you get your bfp soon!!! best wishes xx
