Is it my mucus plug??

Hey ladies,

Was doing the weekly shop today and felt really 'wet' downstairs, so I went to the loo and was quite damp. Then I noticed on my sanitary towel that there was light brown mucus on it and it smells funny like salt (but could that be because I had worn the pad for a few hours?). I wasn't sure if it was my waters that had gone because of the 'wet' feeling I had but I know the amniotic fluids are clear. So now I'm wondering if it's my plug? I had normal discharge when I wiped and a bit more than usual. Just a bit confused.com lol!

sounds like a bit of plug not all of it though mind and some watery discharge, not uncommon if you have been on your feet for a while

Thanks, a few weeks ago I had something similar where I felt damp and there was loads of discharge but this was white/clear and it had spread all over my downstairs area and bottom (sorry for TMI) but I just assumed it was more discharge than normal so wondering now if it was bit of the plug?
